About Panama Real Estate Reviews

Mis à jour:

What this platform is

Panama Real Estate Reviews is an independent review and comparison platform for real estate agencies and brokers operating in Panama. We collect reviews from clients, verify what can be verified, and publish structured profiles so that buyers, sellers, renters and investors can compare providers on evidence rather than on marketing.

We are not a brokerage. We do not sell property, we do not represent buyers or sellers, and we do not take a commission on any transaction. Our role is limited to information: profiles, ratings, reviews, and verification status.

Why Panama needs this

Panama's real estate market attracts a large share of foreign buyers who cannot easily judge who they are dealing with. Licensing information is not always easy for a consumer to check, marketing claims are rarely audited, and a bad choice of intermediary can cost a buyer their deposit or years of litigation. A structured, moderated review platform with documented verification raises the cost of misbehaviour and lowers the cost of research.

How we work

  • Profiles. Every agency and broker we list has a profile with the factual data we could gather: name, location, contact details, claimed specialisations, and — where verified — licence status.
  • Reviews. Anyone who has interacted with a listed provider can submit a review. Every review passes moderation before publication; we screen for spam, conflicts of interest, defamation and off-topic content. We do not edit the substance of a review.
  • Ratings. Displayed ratings use a Bayesian weighted average rather than a raw mean, so a provider with three 5-star reviews does not automatically outrank one with a hundred reviews averaging 4.6. The method is documented on our ranking pages.
  • Trust Score. Separately from the star rating, each provider carries a Trust Score from 0 to 100 built from verifiable signals: licence verification, identity and business checks, verified-review ratio, review volume and recency, responsiveness to reviews, profile completeness, and moderation penalties. The full weighting is published.
  • Verification. Verified badges are only granted against documentary evidence. Evidence submitted to us stays private; only the verification outcome is published.

Independence and money

We have to be explicit about how the platform is funded, because that is where review sites usually fail.

  • Sponsored placements are always labelled as such and never affect ratings, Trust Scores, or organic rankings.
  • Businesses cannot pay to remove, suppress, or reorder reviews. There is no product, tier, or "reputation management" service that does this, and we do not negotiate exceptions.
  • Claiming a profile is how a business responds to reviews and submits verification evidence. Claiming does not improve a rating by itself; it only unlocks the ability to earn verification-based Trust Score components by providing evidence.

What we are not

  • We are not a licensing authority. Our verification confirms documents shown to us; it is not a government registry and it does not guarantee future conduct.
  • We are not legal or investment advisors. Nothing on this platform is legal, tax, or investment advice. For a Panamanian property transaction you should engage your own independent lawyer.
  • We are not exhaustive. A provider not listed here is not thereby suspect, and a listed provider without reviews is not thereby endorsed.

Accountability

Our editorial standards, ranking methods, moderation rules, advertising rules, and corrections process are published in full on this site. If you believe we have published something inaccurate, the corrections policy explains how to get it fixed, with committed response times. If you are a business that disagrees with a review, the review policy explains what you can and cannot do about it — starting with the right of reply available to every claimed profile.
